Frank, or "Thumper" as we call him, is our most unique and energetic staff member. He learned to dive in 1990, while in the SEAL and EOD trainning programs. After multiple injuries, he decided to live out his "Retirement" in Hawaii. He's dove almost every style of Military and civilian dive equipment there is. But he still prefers to use his Dual Hose Regulator, when diving for fun....
He kinda looks like that old "Sea Hunt" guy.
And as our Manager he does whatever else is required to make the shop run smoothly. He's also a wealth of information about the Island, so feel free to ask him anything....
In his "off time", he runs an art studio FW Hendriks Studio, and concept artwork for film and industry. And somewhere (we think at 2 o'clock in the morning) he does all the artwork and website stuff for Big ISland Divers too.
We don't know where he finds the time either, but he does...
