Mike Mayne is a USCG Licensed Captain and a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Mike has been exploring the oceans as certified diver since 1984 and has been a PADI professional since 1996.
Born and raised in Southern California, Mike has a true love of sea and land. He is an accomplished seaman and marlinspike sailor, having worked on and sailed tall ships for many years. He’s sailed, and dove, almost all of California’s Channel Islands as well as Catalina. His international diving adventures have taken him various places throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, West Indies, and Australia.
Having lived on the Big Island since 2001, Mike continues to love every minute of the crystal clear waters, and the “aloha spirit” found here.
