A massive thank you for some wonderful diving back in October over the IronMan period. We think about the Big Island and the team a lot when we are stuck back in the chilly old English winter, you guys not only show us some great sites but are a joy to hang out on a boat with!

...We just came home from our vacation to Hawaii, it was the best!
And to be honest, the manta dive was the best experience of this special vacation!

We had a great time with you all there. The boat was great... our dive master Luke was awesome, funny and relaxed. We got plenty of slow diving with time to look around and lots of bottom time! THANKS for that! We enjoyed the fresh towel on the boat, the food and lots to drink, (juice and water, not just soda... yeah!)
... The manta dive was definitely a highlight... WOW. The still photos were filled with backscatter, so I tried the suggestion of video mode.. and it was awesome! We posted 2 videos of the manta dive, (and plugged you guys on at least one). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5GliZZ8YHI#watch-main-area

We had a fantastic time on the dive. It was pretty much the first dives outside of class for Lisa and I and I think it's going to be difficult for either of us to go on another dive. OK well a little of an exaggeration but.... we both loved every bit of it. All of the staff was very helpful to us, both in the shop and on the boat. Everyone made the trip very comfortable, fun, and easy! I'll definitely put a good word out about you guys and would love to come back.

.....we had the most wonderful time with you!!!!!! Everyone were so nice from your lady staff in your shop who helped me retrieve my PADI number, to the boat crew and to top it all, MIKE MAYNE IS OUR MAN! He was not only very professional, we felt very safe with him (especially my friend Jose who is not a certified diver) and he has a good vibes that emanates from him like you'd like him to be your best friend.
This sums it all! I'll see you next time when I do the Manta Ray dive - with Mike Mayne if possible!

My sister and I had heard about the amazing opportunity to see Garden Eels at shallow depths and about Manta Ray night dive and as this was the first vacation we'd taken together in more than 10 years...we wanted our dive experience to be extra special.
From the people who answered my phone inquiries to their diligent work to get us a spot on one of your great boats...all the way through the dive and returning to shore, I can't think of a single thing to suggest in the way of improvement. Your staff at the shop who checked us in were diligent and speedy. Captain Mike and Dive Instructor Luke were both informative, and professional...not to mention entertaining. They truly added to the quality of our experience. The day we spent diving was the highlight of the whole trip....
We are extremely satisfied customers and look forward to the opportunity dive with your shop again soon.

I really enjoyed my first snorkling adventures with you and your crew. They gave lots of helpful tips and welcomed me aboard as a newcomer. I had a new mask and the crew saw that and helped remove the coating that was on the glass, so I could see as much as possible during my time in the water. It was wonderful - and I would certainly have noticed a difference if your staff had not been more observant.
If we do get back to Kona again, you can be sure I'll be a passenger on one of your boats.

Hey guys! I have absolutely nothing bad to say! the snorkel guide was fun and very informative, the equipment worked well, it was a nice touch to have some drinks on board the boat....good after the swim, and it was surprisingly easy to keep track of our group and guide! I had one of the best times EVER! fabulous experience! mahalo!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would come back, and i would definately recommend you to anyone else! ps. i even bought the video, and was very happy with it!

Hello, Frank and all of the crew at Big Island!
Andrew and I have been snorkeling customers of Big Island Divers for quite a few years. Norm was always helpful fitting equipment and recommending great spots to see honu. And the crew's always friendly and encouraging, showing a true love for the water & its creatures. This year we finally decided it was time to get below the surface to where all the action is! Even though we did our classroom & pool time at home in Seattle, there was no doubt that we wanted to do our open water dives with Big Island.
Divemaster Scott was an excellent instructor with his calm manner and great sense of humor. We enjoyed diving with him so much that, once we were certified, we immediately scheduled two more boat trips with him! We had done the night manta trip as snorkelers twice before but nothing can compare to being underwater with the giant rays as divers. If we could have extended our vacation, we would have booked a spot on the dive boat every day and even another night.

....I have nothing but great things to say about our dive trip with you guys! I was very nervous because I haven't done a dive in quite a long time, and I was very well taken care of. Now I have confidence back and I greatly appreciate it! Great operation, great employees, you guys made it a lot of fun. We hope to be back someday soon!!

....Darrell and I thoroughly enjoyed our time spent on the Big Island and diving with Big Island Divers. You have an amazing staff. We felt like part of the Big Island Family and were sad to have to return home to reality. We have already posted our video of the dolphins and mantas to our YouTube site (ScubaDoughs) and are working on our vacation DVD. We have wonderful memories and credit your staff and their knowledge of the Dive sites, for our fantastic dive trip.
We anticipate a return to the Big Island in the future and will definitely book our diving with Big Island Divers. From our boat dives to the shore dives, we really appreciated the time your staff took to educate us on the dive sites.

.... We had a GREAT Hawaiian vacation on The Big Island and Kauai. One of the highlights was the night Manta Ray dive with you guys..what a memorable experience! The crew in the shop and on the boat were all friendly and helpful with excellent information. We also purchased the Manta video, which is a must so that we can show to all of our diving buddies, just to make them jealous!!...
