Recommended things to see on Island: Akaka Falls and seeing the Lava when its flowing
Bio: Padi Certified in 1988 in Okinawa Japan, when I was stationed with the Marine Corps. But I didn't dive for another 8 years, because I moved to Albuquerque, NM.
Then in 1998 my family went to Kauai, when I dove for the first time since my certification. When I was talking to the DM I asked "you get paid for this job?"
Went home, sold everything and went to scuba school. I then did 4 years on Maui with Lahaina Divers and I've been here since 2002. Currently living with my 10year old son Zack and girlfriend.
Always full of info on Diving the Big Island.... and you can always ask me about my experience in diving the molten Lava as it enters the sea.
Favorite Dive site: Where ever the Octopus are.
